Who I am

My name is Babette Nüßlein and I am a lawyer in the fields of commercial and civil law. My main focus is advising medium-sized companies, members of the independent professions and private individuals.

Since 2003, I have been advising medium-sized clients from various sectors in commercial and corporate law, as well as in the drafting, reviewing and negotiation of contracts. Other areas of practice include the law of the health care professions, labour law and data protection law.

I communicate with you, your contractual partners and opponents in German and English.

My legal career started with the study of law in Bremen. I then completed my legal clerkship in court, in administration and in various law firms. I spent several months at the law firm Giese & Partner in Prague, Czech Republic. I obtained my doctorate under Professor Dr. Peter Derleder in 2006. In 2008 I completed the specialist attorney training course in commercial and corporate law.

I was admitted to the bar in 2003. I initially worked in a general law firm. Since 2005, my focus has been on commercial law, starting in a law firm specialising in banking and capital market law. From 2007 to 2019 I also worked for Nölle & Stoevesandt Rechtsanwälte mbB and FIDES Treuhand GmbH & Co KG.

In August 2019 I founded my own law firm in Bremen.
